When Should I RSVP BY?

Please RSVP by December 15th so we can provide our final headcount to the venue and caterer.

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive by 4:00 PM, when doors open and champagne will be served. The ceremony will begin shortly after, and we want everyone settled and ready to celebrate on time. Kindly note that late arrivals may be asked to wait until after the ceremony to join the celebration.

Where is the venue located?

The Allan House is located in downtown Austin at 1104 San Antonio St, Austin, TX 78701. It’s easily accessible via Mopac and I-35.

Is there parking at the venue?

The Allan House parking lot will open at 5:00 PM, after the ceremony concludes. Guests arriving for the ceremony are welcome to find street or nearby garage parking and may move their cars to the venue lot afterward. If you plan to park nearby, please allow an additional 15–20 minutes to find a spot and walk to the venue. We highly encourage rideshares for convenience and to avoid parking delays downtown.

Where should I stay?

We’ve reserved a room block at the W Austin, located in the heart of downtown and just minutes from The Allan House. Guests are welcome to stay anytime between Thursday, January 15 and Sunday, January 18 to enjoy the full wedding weekend.

What will the weather be like?

Austin in January is typically mild to chilly, with daytime temps in the 60s and evenings in the 40s. Light rain is possible, but showers are usually brief. Our celebration will be under a heated tent, with cocktail hour flowing between the indoor parlor and covered balcony.

What should I wear?

Our wedding is black-tie optional. Formal gowns, tuxedos, or dark suits are all appropriate.

Can I bring a date?

Invitations are addressed to each guest by name, so we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation plan to attend.

Can I bring my kids?

While we love your little ones, our celebration will be an adults-only evening.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that guests keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony so our photographers can capture the moment. You’re welcome to take photos during the reception!

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes! A seated dinner will be served, followed by dessert and espresso. We’ll also have an open bar and a few signature cocktails we can’t wait to share.

Is there an after-party?

We’ll be continuing the celebration nearby. Details to come!

Where are you registered?

You can find our registry here. Your presence alone truly means the world to us!

What should I wear to the Rehearsal Dinner?

The rehearsal dinner will be cocktail attire. Think semi-formal — suits or dress shirts with slacks for men, and cocktail dresses or dressy separates for women. The dinner will take place the evening before the wedding; please refer to your invitation for time and location details.
