The nearest airport is Austin–Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), located about 20 minutes from downtown Austin and The Allan House. AUS is served by all major airlines, including Southwest, American, Delta, and United.

By Car

Downtown Austin is easily accessible via I-35 and MoPac (Loop 1). Street and garage parking are available at or near most downtown hotels.

We’ve reserved a room block at the W Austin, located in the heart of downtown and just minutes from The Allan House. Guests are welcome to stay anytime between Thursday, January 15 and Sunday, January 18 to enjoy the full wedding weekend.

Rideshare options such as Uber and Lyft are widely available. Parking is unavailable at The Allan House, so we encourage carpooling or rideshare when possible. Many downtown hotels, restaurants, and attractions are within short distance of the venue.

Austin in January is typically mild to chilly, with daytime temperatures in the 60s and evenings in the 40s. While rain is possible, it’s generally light and short-lived.

Our wedding will be black-tie optional, with the celebration taking place primarily under a heated tent at The Allan House. Formal gowns, tuxedos, or dark suits are all appropriate. The cocktail hour will flow between the indoor parlor and covered balcony, so we encourage guests to bring a coat or wrap to stay comfortable throughout the evening.
